WHEN MUSIC BECOMES A STORY
Award-winning composer Roman Schoenbichler has written music for many genres, including for film, sports features, documentaries, commercials and trailers.
His score to the film By Fair Means won multiple prizes, including at the Freeride Film Festival.
In 2019, his score to the film La Herentia de Marti won several international prizes including for Best Score at the International Film Festival in Barcelona.
He wrote the music for the award winning TV pilot Deivit & Lisa, including at the NYC TV Film Festival, and has been slated to go to Cannes.
As a composer of commercials, his music has been featured for such products as Red Bull (with Felix Baumgartner), Bayer, and Aston Martin.
Roman has also released three music albums of his work on RipCue Music.
He studied music & audio production at the University Of Applied Sciences in Salzburg and graduated with distinction with a Master of Arts degree.
His score to the feature Exopolitics directed by Gilles Gambino was just released on High Octane Pictures.
At present he resides in Innsbruck, Austria with frequent travels to Berlin and Barcelona for various projects. He is a featured composer at Big Sync Music as well as KOMB Music to release more cinematic music.
In his spare time, Roman loves to go snowboarding, longboarding, sailing and relaxing on secret beaches at the Costa Brava.
Besides that, he's always up for a Basketball match.
